  • All orders are shipped and tracked via UPS.  Upon completion of order, you will receive an email containing the tracking number for the package.
  • Allow orders to be processed and shipped within 24 – 48 hours from time of order. 
  • We are unable to ship to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses.
  • Orders are not processed over the weekend, please note that any orders placed on Friday after 12pm (cst) will not ship until the following Monday.
  • Veruca Salt does not reimburse for lost shipments.  Any claim for a lost package must by made by the customer to UPS. 
  • If for any reason a shipment is refused, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
  • All orders over $500 will require signature upon delivery.
  • Delivery time does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays.
  • We offer FREE Will Call Pickup for those customers who wish to pick up their order at the Veruca Salt Retail store located in downtown Chicago.  Please select “Will Call” in the delivery method during checkout.

Shipping - (International Orders)

We ship to most major international cities.  To confirm that we can ship to your international address, please send an email to customerservice@shopverucasalt.com with your exact shipping address.  A representative from the company will email back with order instructions.

Order Tracking/History

Upon order completion, you will receive an email with your order summary.  Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email that contains the UPS tracking info that can be entered and tracked at www.ups.com.

Order History can be reviewed by loggin into your "My Account" page.

 

Item Availability

All items on our website are also available in our retail stores.  Web inventory levels are updated several times a day; however it is possible for an item to be sold out and not reflected on the website.  In the event any item in your order is no longer available at the time of processing, we will notify you via email and give you a full refund.

Order Cancellation

If your order has not yet entered the shipping process, you may cancel or revise your order by contacting us at (773) 276-3888.  If your order has been shipped, you will need to follow the return guidelines

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Credit Cards.  Online credit card transactions are processed via a secure server using SSL encryption.

Sales Tax

We are required to collect sales tax for any shipment with a billing address in Illinois. No sales tax will be charged for orders shipped outside of Illinois.

Returns and Exchanges


General
 
Look, we know....buying clothes online can be a bit tricky.  That's why we offer EASY returns on all orders.

Refunds are only allowed for items that have not been worn, washed, scuffed or altered.  We do not accept returns on sunglasses, swimsuits, or earrings.  Additionally, all items must be returned with ALL original tags attached. Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoe box in its original condition; please do not use the shoe box as the shipping container as we will not allow a refund.  We suggest trying on shoes in a carpeted area as shoes with scuffed soles will not be refunded.  PLEASE NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
 
 
Online Returns: 
 
Returns and exchanges are accepted on merchandise within 7 days of receipt for a FULL REFUND less the outbound shipping charges (if applicable) and a $5.95 return label charge.  See How To Send Back Returns for instrucions.
 

Sale Items

Sale Items may only be returned for online store credit only and must adhere to the policies above.  Upon receipt of items, an online credit code for the amount of the return will be emailed to you and can be used during checkout at time of next purchase.  Please note, your coupon code from an online return can only be redeemed on our website and not at one of our retail locations.  Online credit codes are valid for 1 year.

Damaged Items

All items are carefully inspected prior to shipping.  In the event an item is damaged upon our inspection, we will send a new item in the same size.  It the damaged item is the last in stock, we will notify you via email and provide a full refund.

If you receive an item that is damaged please notify our customer service department via phone or email within 3 days and we will issue a full refund including item cost and shipping charges.  Please note that we will inspect the item when we receive.  If we do not find the damaged area, all applicable shipping charges will be charged to you.

How To Send Back Returns

Very simple.  To ship items back, please send an email to returns@shopverucasalt.com.  Please list the following in the email:
 
- Customer Name
- Order Number
- Reason for Return
 
Once we receive your request, we will process and email you a UPS ground label for a one time charge of $5.95.  Please pack the items in the original or new box or bag and affix the UPS label to the outside using clear packing tape.  Drop the package off with UPS and that's it.

Please allow 7 days from the date of receipt to complete.  Additional time may occur for you credit card company to process.  If you are returning a sale item, an email with the online credit code will be sent within 7 days from receipt of item.

 
 
In Store Pickup Returns:
 
If you decide not to keep the item when you pick up, you may return directly at the store for STORE/WEB CREDIT only.  For a full refund, see How To Send Back Returns below for instrucions.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available for purchase online.  Gift certificates are sold in predetermined dollar amounts.  Gift certificates can be redeemed at one of our retail locations or on the website using the coupon code listed on the gift certificate.  Please note that you must present the gift certificate to the sales clerk if you redeem at one of our retail locations.
